Bienvenidos a Turís
Torres de Serranos
Los poblados marítimos de Valencia son los lugares donde pasé mi niñez y adolescencia. Los cinco barrios son: Nazaret, Grao, Cañamelar, Cabañal y Malvarrosa. Todos ellos frente al mar Mediterráneo. De cada uno de ellos tengo recuerdos inolvidables, pero sin lugar a dudas, del que más, del mío: el “Cañamelar”. Nací en la calle de Francisco Baldona 69 bajo, junto a mis padres y tres hermanos. Todos esos recuerdos son los que me han animado a ponerle el nombre “Mis Raices” a mi bargueño, un pequeño homenaje a mis queridos poblados marítimos. Estas son algunas imágenes de ellos:
The maritime areas of Valencia are places where I spent my childhood and adolescences.The five neighbourghoods are Nazaret, Grao,, Cañamelar, Cabañal and Malvarrosa. They all face onto the Mediterranean.Each of them have precious memories without doubt. I was born in Francisco Baldona street and lived there with my parents a brother and two sister.
All these memories and experiences gave me the motivation and desire to create my cabinet and it is why it is called “My Roots” (Mis Raices) a small homage to my childhood seaside neighbourghoods.

En esta maravillosa ciudad pasé toda mi juventud. Cada rincón, lugar, paisaje y monumento de ella me trae recuerdos entrañables.
Recuerdo mis salidas a teatros, cines, salas de fiesta, restaurantes, playas... Fueron mis mejores años.
Me gustaría enseñaros algunas fotografías para que podáis ver que la ciudad de Valencia es alucinante.

It is a wonderful city where I spent my youth. Every nook and cranny in the city's landscape is filled with fond memories.
I remember my outings to theatres, cinemas, restaurants, trips to the beaches, these were my best years of my life.

Turís ha sido muy importante para mi; ha sido el pueblo que me ha dado la tranquilidad y el sosiego que necesitaba para poder ealizar el sueño de mi juventud: «El bargueño más grande del mundo».
Han sido 26 años de mi vida dedicados a la construcción de este grandioso mueble.
No creí terminarlo, pero la fuerza de voluntad y la paciencia fueron la clave para llegar a la meta.

Turís has been very important to me; it is the village that gives me the peace and tranquillity to make the dream of youth: "The world's largest Bargueño".
26 years of my life have been dedicated to the construction of this grand cabinet. I didn't believe that I would ever finish it, but with some willpower and a little patience, these were the key to reaching the goal.
